Responsibilities include: -Cleaning of residence halls and student apartments. -Removal of trash from interior and exterior trash cans and depositing in dumpsters. -Vacuuming carpets, sweeping and mopping, dusting, waste removal, floor care and the cleaning of refrigerators and -Stocking of bathroom amenities, cleaning and sanitizing of public restrooms. -Performing strenuous manual labor such as operating heavy cleaning equipment and moving of furniture. -Being able to work in a team environment. -Working in a service-oriented environment. -Communicating well with others (students, guests, and staff) is necessary. -Will work autonomously on some occasions. Physical activities include stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, repetitive motions and visual acuity. High school diploma, or GED.
