Inspired by the idea of merging house and garden to create an experience for the senses, our garden centers in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania and Westport, Connecticut cater to our customer with a curated assortment of plants for all seasons, as well as inspired items for the home and garden. Situated on luxurious indoor-outdoor environments, our on-site nurseries are each flanked by a cafe and garden terrace, providing the ideal environment to host events and workshops.

Overview

The Assistant Web Merchandiser is responsible for assisting with driving online strategies for the business, curating product stories for gifting and editorial messages, and overall upkeep of the Terrain website, including activating all product and daily QA of categories and site assets.

Responsibilities

  • Activation of all products on Terrain website
  • Daily QA of Terrain website to ensure all categories, curated assortments, and general information are accurate, functioning, and properly linked
  • In-depth knowledge of the current and incoming product assortment to speak to inclusions in upcoming email campaigns
  • Weekly and monthly updates to New Arrivals and all Gifts collections
  • Report on weekly and seasonal web performance, taking into account business trends, customer insights, and macro trends
  • Ability to recognize product trends and digest historical data to help plan and explain business performance, and make recommendations on in season and next year changes
  • Understanding of the seasonal concepts and the financial investments associated
  • Assist with ongoing web projects and QA through the staging process
  • Bi-weekly QA of Sale categories and new markdowns
  • Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in ecommerce or merchandising
  • Job Skills

  • Possess a clear understanding of the importance of high quality work and accuracy, and the impact on the customers site experience
  • Strong collaborative and teamwork skills through developing positive working relations with cross-functioning teams
  • Demonstrates a point of view on product assortment and business opportunities
  • Proactive, strong attention to detail, effective time management skills
  • Organizational ability to facilitate multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
  • Education

    Bachelors Degree in Fashion, Business, or a related field.
