Key Role:
Join the dynamic, high performance and growing cybersecurity team at Summit Technologies, Inc. We have an immediate opening for an Information Assurance (IA) Analyst [MASTER level] on our team supporting a DoD client in Mechanicsburg, PA. The ideal candidate, working on-client site, will serve as a lead for the Mission Partner Implementation and Sustainment Task Area of the Cyber Services support program. Our Analyst will review, analyze, and solicit feedback for current and planned programs to determine security risks and technical feasibility (including resource requirements). The ideal candidate will provide security engineering and integration services, and provide critical review of technical, operational, and cybersecurity design requirements to validate logical sequence of implementation task execution, and compliance (with policies, regulations, Federal Law and cybersecurity practices). This problem-solving SME will analyze major/critical cybersecurity implementation problems, provide recommendations, and facilitate resolutions. As a deep IA expert, our analyst will participate in working groups to recommend solutions, perform technical analysis, support discussions/meetings, provide necessary research, provide system design support, and conduct studies and research on new technologies and/or initiatives. With superb communication skills, the ideal candidate will provide outreach and advocacy facilitating resolution to a wide range of complex security needs.
Basic Qualifications:
10+ years of relevant/recent technical experience in cybersecurity
Demonstrated expertise and experience in security engineering/cybersecurity
Demonstrated expertise and experience in technical risk analysis, research and collaborative security efforts
Demonstrated deep expertise in existing and emerging IT technologies
Demonstrated problem-solving ability
DoD 8570 IAM Level I Certification (ie Security+)

Additional Qualifications:
Experience with the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) a plus
Bachelor's degree with major in IT, engineering, science or mathematics is preferred
Advanced technical/cybersecurity degree highly desirable
Significant understanding of Federal, DoD, DISA policies and regulations a plus
Have strong critical thinking / analytical skills
Have a positive attitude and a get-things-done attitude
Have a keen attention to detail
Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
