Pharmacy Systems Analyst Full Time - Pittsburg h Practical Administrative Solutions located in RIDC Park in Pittsburgh is currently accepting candidates for a full time Pharmacy Systems Analyst. This position is responsible for implementing and managing various applications within the pharmacy enterprise as directed by management. This position is primarily focused on, including but not limited to, functional specification creation, application deployment, project organization, task management as well as training coordination, reports development and end user management. It is expected that the position will require some travel to company facilities and/or industry conferences as well as sporadic weekend and/or off-hour support. Responsibilities: Accountable for the implementation and management of assigned software applications and/or interfaces. Recognize business improvement opportunities and to assist business leaders in developing strategic plans Support evaluation, selection and promotion of software systems within the pharmacy enterprise. Create, manage and support users associated with assigned software applications Maintain relevant and accurate documentation regarding the configuration and operation of assigned applications and interfaces. Execute a strategy for the periodic update and/or patching of assigned software applications that includes the correct timing, risk avoidance and minimal impact on users Conduct project management activities including schedules, task development and execution relating to software implementations Qualifications: Four-year degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Science or equivalent field, or equivalent experience learning information technology concept. Demonstrated success in 5 years of IT in similar or related positions, or equivalent. Preference for competency in enterprise pharmacy and/or healthcare industry applications including clinical, EMR, financial and support software. Preference for competency in database interaction with a fluent understanding of Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL. Preference for competency in healthcare business process including clinical and financial areas Ability to conceptualize and interrelate the broad set of IT technologies into a cohesive systems infrastructure with high efficiency Preference for experience utilizing Business Objects, Crystal Reports, or other business intelligence or reporting solutions Ability to relate highly-technical systems solutions to non-technical users Exhibits professional demeanor and ability to interface with computer users at all levels in the company Exhibit strong analytical and troubleshooting skills We offer competitive pay, comprehensive benefits packages, paid time off, and much more - provided by Dice
