Open Sky Community Services is a human service agency that provides counseling services and treatment options to people diagnosed with a mental illness or developmental disability.This program is a 6-person group living environment which serves adults with mental illness. This program offers staff support 24/7. Services focus on helping people to transition to a more independent environment while maximizing their natural supports by building skills and achieving personal goals.

Open Sky Community Services agency provides excellent supervision (both individual and group), as well as various trainings in which to obtain CEU’s, and opportunities for advancement. Our agency is an eligible employer for the Public Student Loan Forgiveness Program and provides tuition reimbursement for continuing education.


The Program Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations and providing overall program leadership for all services provided. Program Coordinators provide administrative, clinical, and management oversight.


  • Develop and implement component goals, objectives, and work plan tasks that are directed toward accomplishing the Agency’s Mission.
  • Facilitate weekly staff meeting and individualized/goal oriented employee supervisions.
  • Ensure optimum program coverage through the development and monitoring of the program schedule.
  • Ensure the development and implementation of all wraparound service plans.
  • Develop and monitor the implementation of all procedures that ensure the health, safety, and well being of individuals served.
  • Foster relationships with neighbors, local educational institutes and the community to promote a better living standard for youth and young adults living with a mental illnes, behavioral challenges or a developmental disability.

The Program Coordinator will have On-call Responsibilities.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Social Services related field preferred, or a minimum of two years of experience working with adolescents with serious and persistent mental illness.
  • Candidates must have at least one year of supervisory experience.
  • Candidate must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Eligible candidate must demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Word.
  • Candidates must be CPR, First Aid, and MAP (Medication Administration Program) certified or certifiable, and must be able to provide physical management (Restraint Training is provided). Open Sky Community Services provides all required trainings.
