The mission of the Pre-Production Coordinator is to help ensure the Studio at large, and specifically

the Production team, meets its scheduling and quality assurance goals by executing and

coordinating a number of crucial pre-production functions. This position requires: excellent

communication, organization, and influencing skills (both up and down); fluency in both our

systems and processes; an almost obsessively high attention to detail; and a mind for

continuous improvement.

The role works very closely with, and at the direction of, the Product Operations Manager and

will ultimately be responsible for setting daily priorities on the floor and keeping people on

task. Because this role needs to have a command of the functions it oversees, the Pre-Pro

Coordinator must develop expertise in our Receiving & QC, Job Pulling & Prep, Inventory, and

Light Assembly processes. To that end, this person will spend a significant amount of time

training and developing strong capabilities for each of these essential functions by actually

performing the duties.

The JOB SCOPE includes:

Helping ensure efficient flow from the point parts are received, inspected, put-away,

picked, and then prepped for Production

Working within our existing processes both in and out of NAV

Performing clerical duties in support of the Product Operations Manager, including

working in the Production Queue, posting consumption of pulled jobs in a timely and

efficient manner

Proposing, developing, and implementing new process improvements that are

designed to help us perform our duties more efficiently and to a higher quality standard

Assisting with inventory control activities, including rack / bin labeling, cycle counting,

physical inventory counts, etc.

2. Functional & Technical Expertise - Deep knowledge of parts, finishing standards,

inventory management, supply chain and vendor management, as well as technical

skills related to NAV and data analysis

actively listens, clearly and effectively shares information, and demonstrates effective

oral and written communication skills in order to establish rapport with each audience.
