We are seeking a skilled Accounts Receivable/ Collections Associate who will be working with our large base of customers, caring for these accounts and the people behind the names, recording payments to Customer accounts and maintaining accounts receivable records. Our best candidates are experienced team players that have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, a high level of organization and the ability to multi-task. Financial literacy is imperative for this job position.

Responsibilities
•Daily depositing and posting of cash receipts.
•Researching check applications, and payment discrepancies.
•Processing of NSF checks.
•Processing credit card payments of invoices.
•Reconciling account balances and preparing statements of accounts
•Updating CC information on-line upon request
•Taking In-bound Financial calls
•Processing phoned in/emailed/fax CC payments
•Daily Invoicing
•Checking open A/R for CC and COD accounts for credits or add-on’s prior to allocation
•Processing CC pre-authorizations
•Completing CC authorizations
•Contacting Store in reference to CC declines
•Editing, cancelling, reprinting pick tickets upon request
•Posting Payments in ATM
•Matching receipts with CC charges
•Monitoring credit terms of customers 
•Supporting month end closing activities with Finance as required and needed.
•Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Includes all clerical support functions and organizing files.

Qualification Requirements
•Associates degree in accounting or business preferred
•Management experience a plus (not required)
•Minimum of 1-3 years of accounting and/or bookkeeping experience preferred
•Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to maintain and open communication with customers and sales representatives.
•Excellent customer service skills.
•Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with others internally and externally.
•Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office software with emphasis on Excel.
•Typing and accurate data entry skills.
•Ability to work effectively with team members to accomplish desired goals, especially during peak times.
•Bilingual preferred: English & Spanish
