Your role in helping us shape the future:
We are seeking an entrepreneurial, innovative, and driven individual to join our team. As Solution Partner Director, you will work with key stakeholders to recruit and manage Solutions Partners that leverage Intelsat platforms and capacities to deliver specific services in specified markets/verticals. You will liaise (internally) with Product, Global Sales, Marketing, and Pricing teams (and others) to create the internal infrastructure to manage SP in world class fashion. Under your leadership, revenues for your SP (current and new) will be increased; the yield / margin for your SP programs will be improved; and there will be a demonstrated ROI for co-op marketing programs.
Are you up to the challenge?
Work with your assigned business unit to identify and on-board SPs – maximize alignment through SP to End-User requirements to reduce channel friction. Actively manage the on-boarding and evolution of our SPs (and the program). This will be first-generation activity for what will become a broad and robust network of highly defined channel partners.
Proactive SP relationship management – implement the Intelsat SP program by identifying and prioritizing revenue opportunities, co-op marketing plans and market engagement funnel (sales funnel).
Championing SP solutions to Global Sales – ensuring that the global sales team has pro-active data to best determine if/when/where services from your SP can be utilized to further an Intelsat End User account plan.
Can you drive these processes?
Develop, drive and align SPs around the business unit strategy in North America; Understand changing market dynamics and adapt strategies as needed. Successfully develop programmatic criteria to prospect and recruit Solution Partners.
You should definitely have:
At least 10-years of progressively responsible experience leading channel management / solution partners in the satellite communications space, with demonstrated success in developing SP programs.
Good knowledge and experience in satellite services in Aero and Maritime segments and Mobility in general.
Bachelor’s degree in business, or a related field
Matrix Management: Ability to operate in a matrix environment
North America and Global experience: Clear experience and ability working with globally dispersed SPs
Good understanding of the partner ecosystem serving Aero and Maritime satellite services in North America
Effective communications skills: Effectively communicate “up and down” Intelsat and Solution Partner organizations.
Strong negotiation and facilitation skills.
It would be nice if you had:
Change management experience in a fast-paced, changing environment
An MBA or a Masters’ degree in business or comparable discipline
