Job Description: The RetailOperations Lead is a self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized individual who executes the strategy of the marketplace and merchandise assortment(s). They are responsible for leading calendar requirements to support the end to end process of 3rd party and marketplace calendars. Enhance and streamline and Business Now processes in support of greater speed and agility Administer processes changes and ease team through transitions; manage deliverables under moderate supervision. Work cross-functionally with Operations colleagues from Brands, marketing, visual, creative, digital, Mast, and store operations to ensure strategies are executed.
Responsibilities: Omni (Digital & Stores) 3rd party product focus Support end to end 3rd party processes - ensure merchants are meeting timelines and shepherd deliverables and communicate due dates. Support photoshoot and styling activities to ensure merchant strategies and key cross-category initiatives are executed across marketing, digital and store platforms. Support store operations learning and development and associate engagement activities - ensure merchant category information comes to life in stores. Support merchant business now activities - marketing and offer updates to drive business results. Support merchants in systems and tools utilized through entire product lifecycle. Establish and maintain strong relationships/partnerships through accuracy and clarity of communication. Demonstrates open mindedness and free thinking when problem solving. Highly motivated and passionate. Support end to end sampling process.
Leadership: Lead department communications, advising partners of progress of deliverables. Ensure identification of risks and resolution of issues. Represent Merchandising interests on Enterprise initiatives.
Strategic Analysis: Diagnose, assess, and determine solutions for complex deliverables. Support Various process creations, strategy development and systems implementations. Identify and champion speed processes and cross-functional operations and integrations. Continuously analyze ways of working and recommend process improvements.
Project Management, Process & Integration: Develop and support cross-functional business initiatives that improve organizational effectiveness, drive speed and efficiency and process improvement across the lingerie organization. Influence decision making across multiple leadership levels to gain cross-functional alignment to achieve on-time execution of projects.
Strategy Development: Effectively execute the Merchandising tasks associated with assigned projects: facilitating alignment of cross-functional areas, surfacing and resolving issues, assessing risks, conducting follow-up, coordinating communication and maintaining project documentation.
Talent Management: Manage project teams or external resources (consultants and contractors), as necessary.
Qualifications: College degree or equivalent experience 3-5 years in a retail buying organization with 1-2 years of management experience Successful track record for high volume or complex business growth and bottom line results Demonstrates effective leadership skills, shopkeeper mentality and strategic thinking Ability to be a team player and to foster a commitment to team work among other associates Intimate understanding of competition, target customer and the brand specific fashion trends Ability to adapt well to diverse audiences and environments Systems savvy
