**Description** The Senior Clinical Manager (SCM) functions as a professional clinical advisor within the Hill-Rom Acute Care team, communicating the clinical value of Hill-Rom products to customers. The core focus of the role is to provide clinical expertise that enhances clinical and financial outcomes for customers, their caregivers, and patients while increasing revenue within the assigned Acute Care territory. This position requires flexibility, autonomy and the ability to collaborate with multiple team members to assure customer satisfaction. The SCM is responsible for mentoring and training new hires and leadership of special clinical initiatives. Travel to assigned accounts is required. **Responsibilities:** + Contribute to the development of Hill-Rom wide programming to enhance clinical outcomes and to derive the full clinical benefit from our people/process and technology + Engage customer clinical leaders and executives, advanced practice nurses and researchers in measuring clinical effectiveness and in creating proof points for our solutions and portfolio + Lead key customers in the creation of evidence based protocols, case studies, testimonials, peer-reviewed publications and reference site participation + Collaborate with the Enterprise Accounts Team to provide strategic clinical program planning for assigned IDN/GPO accountsLead or contribute to key field sales clinical and cross functional projects (CI projects, ROI model development, etc.) Present key clinical sales initiatives and projects to leadership team as appropriate + Assist with ongoing training and development of sales colleagues + Participate in hiring of individual contributor clinical and sales roles (i.e. field ride along with potential candidates) **Qualifications** **REQUIRED** + Bachelor's degree from a 4 year accredited university + At least 18 months of acute care hospital experience + Healthcare and/or medical device experience + Strong strategic and critical thinking skills + Highly developed business acumen + Excellent formal presentation skills + Ability to mentor and develop others + Strong collaboration, verbal & written communication skills + Computer literate (must demonstrate a basic working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word) + Demonstrated willingness and ability to drive success of team members within and outside of his/her own territory + Adaptable and flexible + Variable travel up to 50% **PREFERRED** + 4 plus years of experience in an ACD/COM/TAM role + Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) + Master's degree + Demonstrated leadership in working through business challenges with functional partners + Demonstrated interest and ability to train fellow Hill-Rom team members + Active, current Registered Nurse license strongly + Management level leadership in nursing experience **Job:** Sales **Primary Location:** United States-New York-New York **Other Locations:** United States-Connecticut **Schedule** Full-time **Travel** Yes, 50 % of the Time **Posting Entity** Hillrom **Req ID:** 19125419
