HCA Nurse Residency Program (Medical Care Unit)
StaRN Program (12 weeks total):
Our StaRN Program will provide you with the tools necessary to succeed in today's hospital environment. It will help you transition out of the classroom setting and onto the unit by providing the following training:
After StaRN, you will transition into our Professional Development Residency:
9 month program factored into a full time position on the unit You will learn Charge Nurse skills You will collaborate with a mentor to complete an evidence based Capstone Project (4 hours a month) Your project has an opportunity to gain recognition by corporate for further recognition

Additional Information about our Medical Care Unit:
You will work on a 21-bed unit with all newly renovated rooms equipped with telemetry monitoring
Our patient population includes adults who are hospitalized with various conditions including fever of unknown origin, kidney failure, GI complaints, etc.
Our nursing staff has a wide range of training and experience, providing treatment for those ranging in age from young adults to end-of-life patients
Our nurses regularly participate in education activity to maintain competence, gain new knowledge and develop advanced skills

Graduate of an accredited nursing school within the past 6 months- BSN preferred
Applicants can apply and be offered a position prior to passing the NCLEX exam
Applicants should not have acute care/hospital RN experience
Previous nursing support or service industry experience preferred
