Primary Responsibilities

The primary duties of the Project Manager are to manage one or more projects from cost proposal development through completion; to meet all milestones and keep the project on time and under budget. The project manager will accomplish this by managing a team of engineers, military planners, analysts, production coordinators, GIS / CAD specialists, and other disciplines as required. Typical projects involve assessment of facilities, collecting, assimilating, and managing military installation and facilities maintenance or planning data; land use data; project related data; and spatial features through research, on-site surveys, and interviews. Project teams gather facility information from multiple sources and calculate facilities requirements according to Department of Defense guidelines. Facilities may include buildings, infrastructure, ranges, and training areas. The Project Manager will prepare and conduct presentations on building condition assessments, data collection, analysis process, alternatives, and capital investment strategy results. The Project Manager will manage and actively participate in writing the assessment reports or other project planning documents as required. Direct and assist engineers, military planners, engineers, and other technical staff in the preparation of assessment repair plans based on the results of the facilities requirements analysis. Use various DoD data systems to analyze and record facilities requirements. Communicate and interact directly with the client to include conducting client training as required.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree; Degree in Engineering or Architecture.

Have or be able to hold a DoD security clearance and a U.S. passport.

Must be able to travel internationally.

PE certification desired.

20+ years of experience in public works, facilities planning, construction management, and design is preferred. Minimum of ten years military experience desired;

Strong math skills and exceptional writing skills required. Microsoft Office experience.
