337413BRSr. Digital Product ManagerOne H&R Block WayKansas CityMissouri What you'll do...H&R Block, the world s leader in tax preparation services, is looking for a Sr. Product Manager Mobile & Software Systems to join the DIY Tax Products & Services team. This position is located at our corporate headquarters, in the premier downtown Power & Light District of Kansas City. This individual will work with cross-functional teams and a highly engaged leadership team to deliver a strategy, integration and operational leadership for our mobile and software systems endeavors. Define the back-end monitoring and reporting for the tax prep app and tax prep software systems, ensuring they are robust and secure.Apply deep knowledge of native consumer apps for iOS and Android for the creation of best-in-class roadmaps. Lead with UX designers to ensure delivery of optimal mobile-first user experiences. Determine implementation of go-to-market strategies, ensuring successful launch execution and adoption.Lead products through their life cycle -- introduction, growth, maturity, and ending stages. Define KPIs/OKRs and use them to drive decision-making about the future of the products and teams.Provide strategic leadership within the enterprise to drive awareness and usage of the mobile self-service channel.Analyze market intelligence and business results to accommodate emerging trends.With minimal to complete independence, proactively and consistently deliver in the following areas as defined below.Customer EmpathyIdentify customer pain pointsClearly communicate customer problems and how products can / will solve themAdvocate for your customers among cross-matrixed teamsCreate customer delight and deliver signature momentsTechnicalBe able to articulate how our application is built and the company's tech stackEvaluate new technology ideas and help the team understand emerging trendsStrategy & DirectionCreate a vision for a feature, product, or product line and be able to define a roadmapBe able to persuade and negotiate your feature and/or position to others. MBA or Master s Degree preferred. Significant experience in area of expertise and/or product/program management experience, typically 5-8 years with increasing levels of responsibility. Ability to translate business strategy into department/product/program strategy. Experience with user-centered design and research. Experience with cost benefit analysis in preparing/reviewing business cases. Candidates must possess excellent leadership qualities and communication skills, including the proven abilities to facilitate meetings, manage cross-functional teams, champion ideas and influence others up, down and across the organization to obtain buy-in for the products and/or programs. Ability to adapt rapidly in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities and the ability to react quickly, dynamically, and intelligently. Demonstrated experience, knowledge, and ability to champion agile development methodology. Deep understanding of how to leverage data to make decisions that drive positive business outcomes.
