AV Test Integration Engineer
**Job Description & Qualifications:**
We are seeking exceptional candidates to join our growing Autonomous Vehicle (AV) team! AVs are an important part of Fords future and were looking for the best and brightest. The role will require critical thinking, problem solving capabilities, and a get it done attitude to help make strategic decisions that will enable Ford to be a leader in autonomy, connectivity, mobility, analytics and customer experience.
+ Maintaining and integrating the latest AV software on the test vehicle
+ Maintaining and updating the sensor, compute and networking technologies (software and hardware) on the test vehicle
+ Designing and executing test scenarios both in-vehicle and in simulation
+ Development of software and algorithms that contribute to the robust operations of AV technologies
+ Collaborate with diverse team members in a wide range of disciplines including Robotics, Control Engineering, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and Vehicle Dynamics, Perception, Localization, Routing, and Mapping
+ Bachelors degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering or related fields
+ 6+ months of experience using embedded C/C++ 6+ months of experience with executing software testing with an automotive, robotic or related system
+ Masters in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or related fields
+ Experience with automotive systems and vehicle dynamics
+ Experience with AV technologies i.e. autonomous driving software architecture, sensors, networking, compute hardware
+ Experience with working in a team-based projects across multiple disciplines
+ Experience with UDP, TCP, CAN and network routing moved up to the minimum
+ Experience with development in a Linux environment and shell scripting
+ Experience with agile software development and testing methodologies
+ Experience with software development tools i.e. build systems, containers, source control etc.
+ Experience with software for real-time or safety-critical systems
+ Experience with ROS systems
+ Experience with Python
