Job Description

Florida Gulf Coast University is a comprehensive university dedicated to quality education, research, and service. Assignments will include teaching, at both undergraduate and/or graduate levels, as applicable. Teaching assignments may be on the main campus or at off-campus sites within our region. Additional duties may be assigned by supervisor.

Required Qualifications

Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in one of the following fields: Health Services Administration; Health Sciences; Health Education; Public Health; Clinical Laboratory Science; Public Administration with emphasis in Health Care; Health Services Research.

Preferred Qualifications

Doctoral degree from a regionally accredited institution in one of the following fields: Health Services Administration; Health Sciences; Health Education; Public Health; Clinical Laboratory Science; Public Administration with emphasis in Health Care; Health Services Research; Pathology; Education with an emphasis in Health.

    Teaches didactic content courses either online using the CANVAS platform or in a face-to-face classroom.

    Develops syllabi in accordance with department standards.

    Provides primary instruction and evaluation of students against department and accreditation standards (if applicable).

    Provides formative feedback and summative evaluation to students in a timely manner.

    Other Duties

    Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
