Reporting to the Regional Head of Veteran Initiatives and working as part of the Veteran Initiatives team in North America, the key responsibilities of this role include: building and maintaining relationships with Universities and Military bases, generating leads for FDM’s recruitment team, online candidate sourcing, attending recruitment and networking related events, and running internal recruitment events. This role operates in a high pressure, high volume, target based environment, therefore the ideal candidate needs to be extremely organized, task orientated, self-motivated, resilient, focused, work independently and as part of the team and of critical importance - effectively communicate with all levels of seniority both within and outside of the business. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with the US military and relevant organizations to increase the number of veterans that FDM hires.
  • Plan and deliver military related recruitment events, including job fairs, workshops, and networking sessions on behalf of FDM.
  • Deliver presentations and workshops to groups of Veterans.
  • Maintain relevant reporting metrics for military activities reviewing effectiveness of all activities.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of the FDM business model and the industry we operate in.
  • Contribute to the facilitation and organization of mobile assessment centers across the US (when needed).
  • Co-ordinate internal ‘Open Evenings’ and assist with other events where required.
  • Establish, build and grow relationships with FDM staff through effective communication, consistency and the provision of a highly professional service.
  • Ad-hoc duties as required by the management team.
  • Any other tasks that would be beneficial to the growth and promotion of the FDM brand. 
  • Essential Criteria

  • Desirable Criteria (not essential)

  • Experience of working in a target based / sales environment
  • Experience working in the IT industry, Recruitment industry and/or graduate market
  • Account management, client facing business to business experience.
