Division Automation Engineer will drive the selection, creation and implementation of all new Automation projects allowing Faurecia to save costs, improve quality, and be a leader in the Industry 4.0 transformation. Implementation will be done by training plant Engineers. The NAO Automation Engineer will be part of the Business Group network, sharing best practices. Responsibilities: ·         Analyze the gaps and opportunities to automate further our production sites towards Industry 4.0. ·         Help designing, launch automated systems in FIS NAO plants. Incudes writing specifications, standards of the production means. ·         Interface with the Automation team in FIS BG, sharing best practices, aligning deployments of new systems. ·         Autonomously carry out the follow up of the technical files, design studies, startup testing and maintenance readiness of the automatic functions integrated by the suppliers in the production equipment. ·         Track the automation integration time schedule and guaranty the deadline and the quality within the program budget, in liaison with the plant teams and PML’s in the case of new programs. ·         Propose improvement of the processes, means and PLC program implementations. ·         Pro-active behavior for the acquisition, the development and the sharing of technical competencies. Coach and teach Plants (ME, Maintenance, FES, Quality, PC&L) and program teams (PML, PLM, PTE). The candidate will have/be: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or related field, required Minimum 5 years automotive manufacturing experience, required Must have thorough knowledge of PLC Programming (recent Siemens highly preferred, or other applicable system) and PC Applications Must have in-depth knowledge of manufacturing control systems including PLC's, Robotics and Computer applications, assembly techniques, FMEA Must be capable of working without supervision and with a wide variety of people from the shop floor to senior managers, vendors, suppliers Experience with PLC's for Process Flows,  Welding, Assembly, Staking equipment Excellent communications skills Proficient in MS Excel, Power Point, Project Ability to train others
