Brief Description

Responsible for leading organization to create online and mobile experience for customers and delive high-growth, low-touch, and highly profitable distribution channels for products. Drives vision, strategy, execution, operations, customer experience, and the resulting financial performance for COMPANY.com and all related digital merchandising at COMPANY.

Detailed Description

• Drives vision and strategy for eCommerce across all businesses by developing and executing company website operations to drive profitable growth.

• Owns and manages eCommerce customer experience including merchandising and digital content.

• Develops strategies to deliver financial plans (sales, margin, contribution, inventory turns).

• Responsible for eCommerce budget and oversees gross margin, SG&A, and operating profit with full profit and loss accountability

• Builds and manages relationships with outside suppliers and partners.

• Responsible for ongoing competitor analysis and market trends to ensure effective and efficient customer experiences.

• Responsible for revenue and margin performance for PPC, affiliate, SEO, email and other customer acquisition efforts.

• Works with corporate communications to ensure corporate brand message is communicated clearly through all on-line digital assets.

• Responsible for digital commerce roadmap including digital merchandising, promotion strategy, display, email, social and mobile.

• Coordinates with category leaders on product-related aspects, including pricing, positioning, promotion, supplier-relations, releases, discontinuances, product taxonomy, etc.

• Responsible for functional and practical requirements to provide enhancements to sites in coordination with IT teams and support teams.

Job Requirements

EXPERIENCE:

Direct digital commerce management, including vision, strategy, design, and operations – 10 years required.

Leading internal and external teams – 5 years required.

Profit and loss management, budgeting, and forecasting – 3 years required.

Proven understanding of digital marketing mechanics across search, display, email, social, and mobile – 3 years required.

Extensive experience with web analytics systems, particularly Google Analytics – 3 years required.

CRM – 3 years required.

EDUCATION:

Bachelors’ Degree in Marketing, Computer Science or a related field required; Masters’ Degree preferred.

SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:

Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.

Conceptual and analytical thinking.

High focus on customer and ability to exceed customer requirements.

Web technologies, web programming languages, web page design and layout.

A proven record of influencing and negotiating with key stakeholders.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
General Office – Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time.

MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
Employee required to organize and coordinate schedules.
Employee required to analyze and interpret complex data.
Employee required to problem-solve.
Employee required to manage other employees.
