ESSA Bank & Trust, a publicly held company with 22 branches throughout Eastern PA, has an immediate opening for an experienced Commercial Loan Processing Coordinator in our Stroudsburg location. We are looking for a candidate who has a minimum of three (3) years' experience in related Commercial Lending positions. QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent with emphasis in business curriculum; proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; proficient PC skills; proficient typing and word processing skill; complete knowledge of bank’s loan products, policies, and procedures; working knowledge of current consumer and commercial lending regulations; proficient analytical skills; visual and auditory skills. A minimum of three (3) years' experience in related positions required. DUTIES: ~ Responsible for preparation of commercial loan documentation in accordance with the Loan Approval document. ~ Perform a variety of duties to support the commercial lending function. ~ Achieving goals as established in the Bank’s business objectives. ~ Coordinating work within the unit or department, as well as with other divisions, units, or departments. ~ Complying with operating policies and procedures established for the commercial lending function. 1. Performs a variety of duties to support the commercial lending function of which the following are illustrative: a. Provides administrative support by organizing and expediting the commercial loan processing flow of work assists with the various administrative tasks to support the departments overall operations: communicates assignments and instructions from the manager; including facilitating the work of the manager by establishing, organizing, maintaining files, records; and initiates any follow-up, as required. b. Provides administrative support by performing word processing functions using supplied office equipment and/or software; responds to routine correspondence; prepares letters and memoranda for the manager’s review; schedules appointments; coordinates meetings and travel arrangements. c. Coordinates and prepares the necessary loan documentation / settlement package to facilitate commercial loan closings, in accordance with the Loan Approval document. Including loans underwritten and approved by the Small Business Relationship Manager, d. Performs a quality assurance review of all declined and withdrawn applications. Maintains a tracking log of same. e. Assures the Bank’s loan documentation system is kept in compliance with the Bank’s policies and is updated regularly. f. Assists in the receipt and processing of loan applications, including but not limited to, ordering appraisals, credit reports, title/lien, UCC, flood, entity, OFAC searches and environment reports. g. Provides receptionist support by screening and routing mail, visitors, and telephone calls; responds to requests for information by researching the issues, gathering data, and providing information when appropriate. h. Prepares monthly reports/presentations for the Commercial Loan Department, Finance and Control Department and Board of Directors, by gathering and summarizing data, preparing graphics and spreadsheets. 2. Coordinates specific work tasks with other personnel within the department as well as with other departments in order to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information. 3. Abides by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment which is free of harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the workplace. 4. Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the Bank's compliance with all regulatory requirements. 5. Reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor as requested, or according to an established schedule; compiles information as necessary or as directed and provides data to appropriate Bank personnel. 6. Responds to inquiries relating to his/her particular area, or to requests from customers, other Bank personnel, etc., within given time frames and within established policy.
