Development and Production International (DPI) is responsible for Equinor s portfolio of producing assets and planned field developments in all countries outside Norway and Brazil. DPI's intent is to build and grow a competitive international portfolio - always safe, high value and low carbon. DPI s operates across six continents and implements rigorous safety standards, technological innovations and environmental awareness.

Job Description

The Director/Asset Manager is responsible for ensuring operational safely, focused on delivering the highest value from production, and operating as efficiently and cost conscious as possible
Set strategic direction and manage respective asset
Prepare and deliver on the business plan for their respective asset within short and long term frameworks
Understand and manage risk within asset
Ensure compliance with local legal and regulatory requirements
Asset Business Unit managers own the SSU and P&L results for their respective asset
Provide safe, efficient operations of asset
Manage stakeholder relations with key internal and external parties
This position will also work closely with other departments and functions, (e.g. SSU, Technical Excellence, FC) to ensure compliance to Equinor policies, requirements and processes.


Bachelor's in an Engineering discipline
Minimum 10 years of experience preferably in unconventional.
Strong risk management knowledge.
Strong well cost management skills.
Good contractor management skills.
Position requires strong technical skills, ability to work well with others and a desire to make a difference on potentially large impact opportunities. Ability to influence at the executive as well as field level.
Independent, self-motivated, creative, results oriented, can work to given deadlines.
Knowledge of upstream value process full value chain understanding.
