Equifax?s Analytic Solutions Consultant (ASC) group is comprised of subject matter experts in the areas of data, technology, and analytics. ASC team members are the first point of contact for enterprise solution consulting, analytic design and insight delivery; working with the Equifax Sales and Centers of Excellence to delivery market leading data and analytic solutions.

Enterprise Alliances (EA) is Equifax?s indirect distribution function comprised of vertical-oriented Sales teams, Connector specialists and Alliance Management experts who drive revenue growth by engaging with third parties who re-sell Equifax solutions and/or connect Equifax via technology to end users in the Auto, Housing, Insurance, Marketing, Solutions Engineer Agencies, Fraud, and Connector spaces.

The Analytics Solutions Consultant role is aligned to Equifax?s Enterprise Alliances (EA) sales channel and is responsible for demonstrating the value of Equifax solutions and assets based on actual customer or proxy data/input. In doing so, the Solutions Consultant enhances the client relationship, drives new programs/revenue and increases Equifax mindshare at their assigned accounts. The Solutions Consultant is a quantitative thinker who has a solid grasp of Equifax?s data and associated assets, an ability to identify and understand the impact of market and economic trends, and a keen understanding of client business needs. The Solutions Consultant proactively identifies and designs quantitative analyses to generate new sales opportunities and support ongoing sales initiatives for the Equifax Enterprise Alliances Sales Team.

The Analytics Solutions Consultant establishes relationships within client accounts, is viewed as a trusted analytical advisor and collaborates with both the sales team and the rest of the Equifax organization to optimize the use of our data and analytical assets. This individual also acts as a project leader for the development and delivery of analytical solutions such as quantitative analysis, model deployment and custom analytics. He/she must work well in a team environment yet be a self-starter.


  • You will demonstrate a solid understanding of Equifax's analytical solutions and data sets and how they align to partners? business needs.
  • You will provide technical consultation on Ignite Direct solutions that involves recommendations on data wrangling/engineering, attribute and model execution, analytics to production deployment, and overall support for customer success.
  • You will proactively identify and design solutions leveraging analytics knowledge and experience (which may include understanding model development, strategy analysis, performance reporting and other ad-hoc analyses) with the goal of generating new sales opportunities and support ongoing sales initiatives for the sales team.
  • You will understand client data/analytical needs (as well as industry financial/econometric data) in order to provide analytical design and consulting expertise for solution sales, development and implementation.
  • You will serve as the key consulting resource in the design, development, implementation and use of custom and generic analytical solutions and capabilities.
  • You will work with internal stakeholders, sales leadership, internal analytic teams and system/IT infrastructure teams to enable successful deployment/integration and consumption of newly developed solutions by the partner.
  • You will be responsible for working closely with the account relationship teams, analytic fulfillment teams and key internal stakeholders/management to produce customer facing presentations and other materials that clearly demonstrate the value of each analytic solution and are positioned in alignment with the sales strategy and customer objectives.
  • You will help ensure proper use of Equifax data assets by working closely with data governance and compliance professionals.
  • You will provide proactive feedback and valued insights to contribute to the success of key new products, solutions and capabilities.
  • You will support activities through the consultative knowledge of Big Data tools like Cloudera Hadoop, HIVE, Impala, Spark, H2O, R, Python, Scala, SAS, etc. in Equifax Ignite and Cambrian Platforms.
  • You will design reports and tools to monitor and visualize data.
  • What makes you a good fit for this role?

  • BA or BS degree in a quantitative field of study (Graduate degree in a relevant field is a plus)
  • 8+ year?s demonstrated/relevant experience in some or all of the following areas relating to data analysis:
  • Credit Risk and/or Marketing analytics, as well as general credit file or credit account analytics
  • Credit risk and/or marketing strategy development
  • Systems analysis
  • Statistical R&D
  • Working in Hadoop-based and/or Cloud-based data/analytics environment
  • An understanding of credit risk scoring, credit data, data attribution, and credit lifecycle management
  • Must be able to effectively manage multiple partners and projects at one time; continuously insuring activities and project initiatives are prioritized and in alignment with sales leadership goals and objectives
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and work collaboratively with cross functional teams within an organization (such as Sales, Legal/Compliance, and Fulfillment) to meet or exceed project timelines and stakeholder expectations while maintaining a consistent level of quality and transparency throughout the project lifecycle
  • Excellent written and verbal communication required
  • Experience synthesizing in-depth analyses that leverage data directly supplied from a Credit Bureau or other third party data provider into appropriately positioned and impactful customer facing presentations preferred
  • Excellent planning, prioritization and organization skills, including an ability to work independently and set priorities to achieve desired results
  • Ability to travel approximately 10-25%

    This is a remote opportunity with 10%-25% travel to various locations across the United States required, so we are flexible on location. Candidates must be open to travel with access to a home/remote worksite when not on the road.
