We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Product Manager, Platform that is responsible for defining technical product direction, product documentation, and key performance indicators of products that bridge technical capabilities with business needs. This position assists with defining departmental roadmaps while ensuring product features and enhancements align to both technical and business requirements. This position coordinates communications between business sponsors, partners, clients, multiple functional groups, and product stakeholders.
The Technical Product Manager will spend equal time focusing on Enterprise Holdings Application Gateway, and Messaging Platform. You will build consensus by understanding stakeholder requirements and challenges. You will identify product opportunities through market analysis and customer interviews, assess product risk, create product roadmaps, and ensure teams are actively and accurately working on features required to fill product gaps. You will work closely with executive leadership, program and project management, project sponsors and stakeholders, other technical product managers, and engineering teams.

This position reports directly to Pat Huck, Director of Platform Services, and is located at our Weldon Spring campus in St. Louis, Missouri. The ideal candidate is a highly experienced professional who uses broad expertise, knowledge, and skills to resolve complex issues; contributes to development of company objectives and principles, and to achieve goals in creative and effective ways.

+ Provides leadership, coordination, tactical direction, communication, and success measurements of technical products that teams consume to meet business goals.
+ Works with project sponsor or business organizations to determine features, objectives, and measurements of success for product.
+ Executes and assists with defining product strategy, market evaluation, project definition, and prioritization based on the needs of the technical teams.
+ Prepares and delivers informal and formal presentations to own team, department, other IT teams, stakeholders, sponsors, and business partners.
+ Communicates issues or features to the leadership, sponsors, and stakeholders during the design and development stages of product lifecycle; establishes solutions. Assists with the public relations and communications needs of product.
+ Monitors and gathers data on errors; analyzes data to determine successes and failures of and within the product.
+ Provides escalation assistance; recommends potential solutions to issues; follows established escalation procedures; resolves moderately complex issues.
+ Suggests solutions or enhancements; directs implementation of changes.
+ Ensures compliance to and upholds the standards, processes, and procedures.
+ Establishes key performance metrics for the team and monitors to ensure compliance of established standards, processes, and procedures. Assists in the development of department metrics.
+ Acts as advisor to departmental leadership and may become actively involved, as required, to meet schedules and resolve problems.

+ Create and maintain feature roadmaps related to the API Gateway and Messaging Platform
+ Conduct regular internal customer calls and meetings to collect the information needed to drive new API Gateway and Messaging Platform features and enhancements
+ Create and maintain API Gateway and Messaging Platform customer journey maps to assess customer satisfaction and drive product direction
+ Conduct biyearly calls and meetings with the API Gateway and Messaging Platform vendors to understand vendor direction, provide customer feedback, and align roadmap and enhancement strategies
+ Be the Product Owner in two Agile/Scrum engineering teams participate in daily standups, regular planning, and retrospectives
+ Manage and groom the backlog for two Agile/Scrum engineering teams
+ Align the API Gateways and Messaging Platforms product strategies with the identity and access management strategy defined by Enterprise Holdings Information Security Office
The position must reside onsite at one of our three St. Louis based campuses, with the ability to travel between our local campuses as needed.

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred

+ Preferred experience with messaging technologies: Twilio, Nexmo, Sinch, Plivo, etc.
