Work you'll do

As a Manager, you will:

Advise C-suite clients and business unit executives on creating new and/or improving existing organization and workforce models to optimize delivery of mission services and outcomes

Lead teams across the full lifecycle of organizational design

Organization diagnostics to identify root cause issues and improvement opportunities informed by data and analytics

Organization design to optimize alignment of structure, workforce, and work to address root causes & achieve results

Transition from current-state to future-state through targeted actions, governance, and change management to realize the benefits of redesign

Wo rk with client account teams and their clients to shape, win, and lead transformation opportunities across the Government and Public Sector landscape
Work with broader Deloitte practices to bring the best of Deloitte functional and industry capabilities to transformation efforts

Serve as a thought leader in Public Sector transformation through publications, public speaking, and related eminence activities

Train and grow the next generation of Public Sector transformation experts through recruitment, training, and mentorship of junior staff

Our GPS OT practice helps clients with their critical organizational transformation and talent initiatives. We work across the enterprise, offering business-oriented and data-driven talent strategy, organization strategy, technology adoption, leadership alignment, culture, learning, and strategic change solutions to address the organization's transformation and talent agenda. Qualifications

Required:
Bachelor's Degree in business, human resources, communications, industrial and organizational development/psychology, political science or a related discipline

Master's Degree in business, public administration, or related discipline preferred

8 + years of relevant commercial or government consulting experience focused on organization and/or workforce transformation, operating model/organizational diagnostics and design, performance improvement, and related topics

5+ years in a technical or functional leadership role

Experience mentoring and coaching others

Proven leadership skills demonstrating strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities

Experience managing senior-level client relationships

Experience presenting to clients or other decision makers to present and sell ideas to various audiences (technical and non-technical)

Pre-sales, proposal, and RFP experience

Proven track record of consistently attaining managed revenue targets as well as achieving quarterly or yearly sales objectives for new business

Must be able to obtain and maintain required security clearances for this role

Preferred:
Experience delivering commercial organizational strategy and design consulting methods, tools, and approaches in a Public-Sector context

Understanding of and enthusiasm for digital, leadership, talent, and other management and organizational trends and innovations impacting today's Public-Sector leaders

Experience leading and working with multi-disciplinary teams (e.g., strategy, operations, technology, human capital, etc.)

Familiarity with the Government and Public Sector capture process: ability to identify, shape, and sell services to existing as well as new clients
