Commissions Systems Administrator - Secureworks

Role Overview

The Commissions System Administrator is responsible for configuring the commissions system to correctly calculate commission for all Seller groups as well as Partners. This includes working with Sales, Legal, and HR to completely understand the requirements in the legal commission plan document, then translating that understanding into business requirements (BRD) as well as into technical configuration requirements (TAD). Once both documents have been approved by the business, then Commissions System Admin would be responsible for configuring the changes in the system and working with the Commissions team to sign off on testing.

The Commissions System Administrator would also be working with the commissions team on any production issues to ensure resolution.

Role Responsibilities

Supports day-to-day business operations functions, business applications and supporting technologies

Provides end user support for a specific application while learning about the application and customer

Assists in application implementations and testing low complexity end user processes using defined guidelines

Updates existing tables and verifies data accuracy

Collects data and runs basic reports in response to client inquiries as directed by more senior associates

Interacts with clients, both internal and external, to provide business reporting

May assist in training end users and creating end-user documentation for low complexity functionality

Analyzes business and user needs, documenting requirements, with the guidance of a senior associate

Documents business rules/functional requirements to support system enhancements with the guidance of a senior associate

Logs and tracks basic problems/ work tickets with external product vendors or support organizations.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years experience translating commission plan documents into technical requirements, configuring the commission system with requirements, and working with end users for testing

Expert in Microsoft Excel; experience with Microsoft Access or SQL preferred.

Experience with a commissions system; experience with Varicent (Cognos) ICM v10 preferred.
