Corporate Talent and Staffing Coordinator

Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with associates in order to gauge associate capacity and serve as an associate resource regarding their workflow capacity and development plans
  • Maintain staffing records and manage reporting related to the Corporate Practice group Provide data management, which includes tracking staffing assignments, deal flow and transaction status, across multiple databases Extensive reporting, analysis and presentation of data to be utilized for presentation to the Attorney Development team, Partners and various committees Audit data and the data systems on a regular basis to maintain and improve overall integrity of information and flag potential staffing issues or opportunities Spearhead innovation with respect to the maintenance and utilization of associate data in order to promote associate development
  • Partner with Attorney Development Managers in assigned practice groups to implement individualized development plans through staffing, mentoring, training and other development initiatives
  • Attend Corporate Practice group and subgroup meetings to understand the business and staffing needs of the practice areas
  • Provide overall support to Corporate Talent and Staffing Manager
  • General assistance on ad-hoc projects
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required (minimum GPA of 3.3)
  • Law firm experience and/or familiarity with corporate law, language, and legal terms preferred.
  • Passionate about innovating and problem-solving
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to toggle between, and establish priorities among, competing work streams and deliver results with a sense of urgency and on deadline
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to work with senior members of the organization
  • Flexibility to work outside regular business hours, including early mornings, evenings and weekends as needed
  • Self-starter who is proactive with respect to moving short and long term projects forward and improving processes
  • Demonstrable interest in creating technological solutions / manipulating data to simplify and improve processes.
  • Professional and positive demeanor along with an ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
