JOB SUMMARY

The UI Designer role requires the individual to be passionate about building clean, beautiful applications that bring simplicity to complex use cases. The individual needs to be thoughtful, logical and have the ability to translate a users needs and goals into finished application designs. The candidate should be able to work alone and as a member of the development team to design, wireframe, and build prototypes.

The designer will also act as a leader and voice of the user for the development team, helping the Product Owner translate user stories into comprehensive workflows. The designer will be involved in all aspects of the request process, including: requirements gathering and definition, design, development, system testing and all other aspects of the SDLC. The designer will be expected to further their product and technical knowledge, and quickly learn the vision for enhancements and new product offerings. This position will be working to support our web portals that interface with our user types like physicians, patients, and practice managers. This position will create and maintain content for these portals, and use best practice methods to display the content.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design small to medium size applications and application enhancements with little or no direction or oversight
  • Document application design flow
  • Present/Review work for feedback, as well as status and completion, with both the team, and leadership and stakeholders
  • Work closely with the Product team and a variety of requestors on larger projects
  • Take direction from Senior Level Executives and team on projects
  • Review, analyze and modify web system portals including documentation, design, development, and monitoring as specified by management and project needs

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    The Developer position requires the individual to be very logical and have extremely strong coding skills. He/she will be able to work alone and as a member of the development team to design, develop and maintain customized business application software. Mid-level software developer will act as a leader on minor system development projects. The developer will be involved in all aspects of the development process, including: design, development, system testing and all other aspects of the SDLC. The developer will be expected to further their technical knowledge and quickly learn the vision for enhancements and new product offerings. This position will be working to support our web portals that interface with our user types like physicians, patients, and practice managers. This position will create and maintain content for these portals, and use best in practice methods to display the content.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and build small to medium size applications with little or no direction or oversight

  • Document application flow

  • Lay out SQL tables, stored procedures and queries

  • Application code

  • Present/Review status and completion with Senior Developers, managers and stakeholders

  • Working closely with the Clinical Informatics team on large complex projects

  • Take direction from Senior Level Developers and development manager on projects

  • Review, analyze and modify web system portals including documentation, design, development, and monitoring as specified by management and project needs
