Participate in CM Group annual planning process, monthly comparative internal/management financial reporting and analysis, Board of Directors' reporting and analysis, expense allocation maintenance and reporting, and reporting with external entities. Lead and/or participate in ad hoc projects and perform other financial/accounting duties.

Please note - Candidate must be able to work out of CM Regent's office in Mechanicsburg, PA.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participate in annual planning process, including coordination with Actuary Department for loss and premium information. Prepare forecast and projected financials for internal management decision making.
Prepare monthly management reports, including monthly comparative financials and analysis of results to plan and from the prior year.
Participate in the annual expense budgeting process. Prepare annual expense budget and provide analysis and review of variances from prior periods with management.
Prepare and maintain company, distribution, business unit, and line of business expense allocations.
Develop Board of Director reports, dashboards, and related analysis, along with development and analysis of external entities (i.e., AM Best).
Develop enhanced expense allocations and reporting. Maintain monthly budget workbooks, including variance explanations for actual versus plan differences.
Lead and/or participate in ad hoc projects and various finance/accounting duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Advanced Excel and computer system skills.
Evidence of ability to effectively organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines or requirements.
Strong analytical skills.
Demonstrated ability to communicate and interact effectively with individuals at all levels.
Sound judgment and effective decision-making skills and ability to work with confidential information.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field is required.
CPA and/or CMA certification required. May consider significant accounting/finance experience within the property/casualty industry in lieu of a certification.
Minimum of three years of statutory accounting and/or financial analyst experience required, preferably in the insurance industry.
