Job Summary/Scope Benefits Supplemental Questions Job Summary/Scope Under immediate supervision, attends the Police academy to receive instruction designed to qualify trainees to obtain a license to serve as a Police Officer. This is a trainee-level classification and incumbents are expected to successfully complete the police academy, receive the recommendation of the Police Chief and promote to Police Officer as a condition of continued employment. Examples of Duties & Responsibilities: Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Participates in and conducts numerous types of training activities covering all phases of operations associated with the Police Department, including attendance at state, regional, and local schools and seminars, as required to become a Police Officer.
Assists other City Departments and citizens as necessary.

Participates in all training activities and public relations programs as assigned.
Performs all other related duties as assigned.
