The successful candidate will be passionate about deliveringgreat customer and developer experiences through the use of APIs, have a strongunderstanding of technology, software development, and the API lifecyclemanagement, and be able to manage a strong risk and controls environment.This position will provide a unique opportunity to work with the developer andthird party community as well as across functions internally (i.e. payments,account opening, servicing) to build and deliver products for millions of Chaseconsumers, small businesses and strategic partners. The role will lead amonumental shift in digital banking and establish the API platform as aninnovative and efficient way to deliver new products and services.


Develop and drive thestrategy, roadmap and implementation for the API program and developerecosystem (developer portal)

Define and drive thestrategic APIs for the organization; collaborate across the teams of productand technology owners to deliver the APIs to market

Be accountable for theproduct governance of APIs; look holistically to ensure reuse and develop theright API packages to drive efficient production and consumption

Be responsible for thedeveloper ecosystem strategy and developer relations program

Provide developerswith resources, testing tools, content assets and technical support for drivingengagement of use of the API products

Develop a first classdeveloper relations program based on the needs and interests of the community;drive loyalty, engagement and a differentiating experience

Collaborate with ateam of cross-functional partners (i.e. Risk, Controls, Compliance, Legal) toensure a strong risk and controls environment; strengthen the controls throughthe management of risk and control self-assessments and remediation plans

Use data, experimentsand feedback to drive improvements to the API and developer ecosystem strategy

Develop the metricsand key performance indicators to drive the program towards to deliver customerand business value; Be responsible for reporting and delivering on metrics

Manage production andoperations support that require detailed product knowledge to help diagnoseissues

Deliver communicationsto executives and leadership team on the strategy and progress

Lead a team of productowners; foster an environment of great team culture promoting openness, teamsafety and authenticity


15 years experience indigital product management, technology and / or Agile software development;financial services experience preferred

Proven success incollaborating and driving decisions with multiple stakeholders, including teammembers across product, technology and design as well as business development

Strong industryknowledge of APIs and lifecycle management, open platforms (banking as aservice) third party developers and the developer community

Experience managingimplementations with third parties, partners and suppliers (vendors) isrequired; experience with API platforms and tools (i.e. API gateways) ispreferred

Strong understandingof product and software development and the ability to work Agile and Scrum

Proven track record ofmanaging risk and controls

An ability to thinkstrategically while also comfortable with being hands-on

Minimum BA/BS degreerequired; computer science and or software engineering background preferred
