Join our team as Human Resources Generalist, where you will be responsible for the application of Human Resources principles, practices and tools that support the execution of business strategy and provide a positive work environment. A key area of impact is assisting one or more Human Resources Business Partners with the execution of day-to-day activities. This role is accountable for the administration of policies and procedures, general client customer service, HR administration and process improvement support from our global corporate headquarters in Oak Brook, IL.
Human Resources Generalist Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology or related discipline.3-5 years in Human Resources. Preferred requirements include:  2-3 years Human Resources generalist experience; 1-3 years in employee relations managing complex and sensitive cases.Ability to diagnose and analyze problems and drive appropriate solutions.In-depth knowledge of Federal, state, and local employment laws and an understanding of application to HR practices, policies, and programs; ability to work in a matrix environment; ability to partner with and support people at all levels of the organization.Ability to travel up to 10% - domestically.Human Resources Generalist Responsibilities:Performs HR responsibilities within assigned client group including but not limited: to day-to-day HR employee relations, assisting with performance management, compensation/benefits, coaching, employee engagement, employee development, cultural change and partner with HR Centers of Excellence (COE) to ensure HR business partnership.Works with functional leaders to manage talent acquisition activities including talent upgrade efforts, as necessary, and advises on market compensation requirements; coordinate recruiting efforts from job scoping activity through the offer phase.Supports the performance management cycle, advising and coaching in areas of goal setting, mid-year feedback, annual performance review and the compensation planning process.Provides guidance and support on day-to-day employee relations issues; conduct employee investigations and escalate complex issues and investigations to Human Resources Business Partner.Designs presentations and facilitates training to client groups; provides technical expertise and analytical support.Works with COEs and Payroll as necessary in the management of employee life cycle processes and transactions; guides the escalation and resolution of HR questions, issues and requests to the appropriate channels.Improves strategic business initiatives, such as retention initiatives, workforce management and resource planning, by analyzing, interpreting and reporting data.Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting Human Resources functions and ensures policies, procedures and reporting are in compliance.Contributes to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.This role offers a competitive base salary and excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, and more! We're an organization who values its human capital and provides support to assist its employees succeed.  Chamberlain Group is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
