The Senior Project Manager, Media Transformation Program is a key senior leader within the Project Management Office (PMO) focusing on delivering transformative change management related projects across Dentsu Aegis Network (DAN) media agencies in the USA. The PMO will consist of a multi-disciplinary team that will design, build, implement, and communicate the necessary technology and change management programs that will be executed throughout various media services / disciplines. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing project managers leading large internal teams and working groups to support the design, development, and then transition of our organization to a new core media platform (similar to changing a core banking system within a bank).
As the senior project manager within the PMO, you will be PMO hire #3, tasked with helping design, create and lead a center of excellence that helps DAN Media achieve better quality and consistent service delivery for the transactional components of the media buying process (Middle and Back Office). Your Senior Project Manager role will have you responsible for the delivery of our most important change management program by enabling great collaboration across internal project teams, our internal technology teams, key stakeholders and external vendors & consultants. Your job will be to lead and manage the effectiveness of these complex, cross-disciplinary teams, providing visibility of their responsibilities and keeping teams on track for their highest priority work.
A significant part of this role will be to define, design, prioritize, plan, organize, and execute the various workstreams required to enable the business to transition successfully. As a senior project management lead within the DAN Media PMO, youll leverage your change management and program management experience to plan, coordinate, implement and close projects utilizing agile project management methodologies and expertise to drive key projects to a successful completion.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
The role of the Senior Project Manager, Media Transformation Program is one that requires close collaboration with senior technical, operations, talent and finance leads at a DAN group, line of business, and agency level.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Project Set-Up Lead the change management program and transition of the DAN Media business to a new cloud-based media system. Work with Media Operations, Finance and Technology leadership to agree and prioritize deliverables. Define and establish processes, tools, resources, training and governance practices to ensure effective execution of internal teams. Provide key inputs into the scope, project timeline and phasing of the program.
Project Management Delivery Develop and manage the program project scope, Work Breakdown Structures and all related plans. Follow established best practices for planning, management and delivery of interrelated projects and programs of varying sizes. Integrate projects within programs as needed. Manage project budgets and required sub-contracts. Assess project related Organizational Change Management (OCM) needs and project impact on business processes, key procedures, and end users, and address impacts (i.e. end user training). Organize, facilitate and drive project and program meetings, stand-ups and retrospectives as applicable. Prepare related action items, assign ownership, deadlines, and drive to resolution. Drive resolution of risks, issues and conflicts associated with managing and coordination of complex technical projects and programs. Provide internal leadership and coordination of project dependencies with vendors and business peers. Serve as the conduit between the business functions and development teams through which requirements flow; responsible for managing change initiatives. Identify and incorporate project dependencies on benefits realization plans with business peers, project sponsors and other key stakeholders. Assess post deployment implementation results, conduct root cause analysis, manage continuous improvement programs.
CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE AND PROFILE
Professional background: Bachelors degree 10+ years of experience in technology/transformation/change related operational environments, expert Project Manager, PMP/Prince and Agile certification. You have solid experience with enterprise level IT projects and understand the key areas impact across technology, process and people. You have 8+ years of Project and Program Management, including leadership and related management of resources, budgets, goals, stakeholders, communications, suppliers, deliverables, benefits, governance and risks. You are knowledgeable of project management methodologies and frameworks best suited for programs incorporating both technology and organization change. You have demonstrated ability to manage multi-disciplinary, multi-track, matrixed-managed enterprise project and programs. You have 5+ years of experience using a commercial project management tools, expert knowledge in using ASANA You have proven experience with identification and implications for Organizational Change Management needs and related deliverables. You have practical experience with agile and lean values, principles, and techniques.
