Marketing Director Opportunity: C&F Mortgage Corporation is seeking a Marketing Director to build functional excellence in our direct to consumer marketing that will complement our existing referral-based programs. The Marketing Director will plan, lead and execute a consumer-based marketing strategy that aims to build the C&F brand, increase consumer engagement, build an employer value proposition for recruitment and ultimately close more loans. The position will also lead strategy and support for our 70+ loan officers and 16 branches. The Marketing Director position offers a unique and fun opportunity for an energetic marketing leader to create and build a new marketing platform. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with an innate ability to build, pitch and deliver on marketing strategies in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment. The ability to create functional excellence while simultaneously developing growth strategies that drive continuous improvement is a must. The Marketing Director will report to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and will lead a team consisting of an internal CRM/Digital Marketing Specialist with support from third party experts. Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Build a robust consumer marketing platform Drive brand awareness and consumer engagement through: Building a social engagement strategy Enhancement of online tools, website content and performance Email marketing leveraging CRM platform (Surefire Top of Mind) Effective product/service launches, both internally and externally Educational programs aimed at converting potential borrowers into clients Community involvement activities Drive continuous improvement in referral-based marketing support includes Loan Officer/Branch marketing and onboarding and Realtor/Builder programs Effective management and oversight of third-party vendors, services and budget Collaboration with Executive Management to execute on strategic plan Qualifications Requirements: Bachelors degree in marketing, business, communications or a related field 5-8 years of experience in a marketing, communications or sales enablement position Proven experience leading marketing in a sales-driven environment (mortgage, real estate, or banking/finance a plus but not required) Track record of successful consumer-based marketing strategies Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Strong organizational and project management skills Sales ability combined with cross-functional collaboration to achieve results Knowledge of digital strategies used to support B2C marketing (social, web, email marketing, google AdWords, SEO) Ability to lead and develop staff and third-party vendors Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Adobe Creative Suite and CRM software (Surefire a plus).
