Jr iOS Developer

Contract/ Contract to Hire

$25-28/hr negotiable depending on experience

As the Junior IOS Developer you will be developing and implementing new features and maintaining current application functions to the main revenue generating mobile application at a Fortune 20 telecommunications company. You will be paired with a Senior Developer Mentor to understand the architecture and platform layout of an enterprise mobile application. As the Junior IOS Developer you will be hands on coding the functional application features to be used by over 5 million consumers.

Minimum Qualifications

Computer Science degree from a reputable college or university

1 year of software development experience

Solid understanding of Object Oriented Programming, specifically with Java

Must have online portfolio of software development projects or work (ex. Personal website, GitHub, etc.)

Experience with mobile development in a huge plus

Experience with Swift is a huge plus

Responsibilities

Design and build native mobile applications for the iOS platform

Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications

Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features

Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs

Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
