Touring Exhibitions Coordinator-Exhibitions The Touring Exhibitions Coordinator supports the planning and implementation of our touring exhibitions, which are an important component of sharing our collections and special exhibitions with partner institutions as well as generating revenue for the Museum. Requirements: Bachelor's degree, preferably in art history, arts management, or arts administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Two to three years of experience in a museum, gallery, or other visual arts setting Excellent organizational, communications, and interpersonal skills Ability to assess priorities, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work effectively within a team structure Strong writing and editing skills Exceptional attention to detail Experience maintaining financial records Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Google Suite, and Concur or equivalent accounts payable systems Additional qualifications: Knowledge of TMS (The Museum System) helpful Graphic design skills a plus Responsibilities: Prepare touring exhibition proposals and outreach materials Assemble image sets, didactics, and other materials to share with exhibition tour venues Assist with reviewing and approving promotional materials from tour venues Manage financial records, including generating invoices, recording payments, and tracking expenses Maintain touring exhibitions calendar and implementation schedules Coordinate webpage updates and social media posts Organize archives, venue contact databases, and related records Support the development of touring exhibitions generally Provide general administrative support including note-taking, filing, scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and other tasks as needed Start date: Immediately Department: Exhibitions Reports to: Manager of Touring Exhibitions Position type: Full-time Union status: Non-union FLSA status: Non-exempt Schedule: 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm Apply online If you have questions about our online application system, please get in touch with us at (see application details) .
