The company began more than 100 years ago in Tulsa and has successfully diversified into a variety of industries, businesses and geographies. .The Mail Clerk delivers and processes all incoming and outgoing mail; sorts incoming and outgoing inter-office mail to various department and branch locations; may be required to identify and resolve errors in mail preparation.PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Weighs and applies appropriate postage on outgoing U.S. Postal Service (USPS) mail according to the class of mail selected via 3 postage machines; identifies appropriate cost center for charge back purposes; determines mail class i.e., first class, flat presort, bar-coded presort; replenishes postage on meters via electronic transfer of funds.Performs scheduled deliveries to/form specified locations in a timely manner for the purpose of mail distribution and pickup including deliveries to city-wide locations.Accepts proof work and courier and accountable mail via the receiving window; counts, logs and delivers proof work; ensures notification and delivery of courier items; ensures pertinent information is tracked, recorded, and delivered to the intended recipient.Ensures accurate sorting of both USPS and interoffice mail by maintaining proficient knowledge of the employee data base and department names and locations.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:Basic PC skillsAbility to read, write, and perform basic mathAbility to operate equipment such as photocopiers, postage metersValid drivers license in order to transport mail to and from post officeThis level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of high school or GED; requires no work experience.BOK Financial is a stable and financially strong organization that provides excellent training and development to support building the long term careers of our employees.
