**This position is based in Jacksonville, FL.** The Account Coordinator manages and coordinates all retail activities relating to their vendor line in all stores carrying the vendor's merchandise. The Account Coordinator is an non-exempt Division position and reports to the Regional Store Manager or Regional Manager. Serves as the liaison for the Division Office and the vendor and will uphold the standards set forth by Belk Stores. Essential Functions: Sales & Financial Productivity Meet and/or exceed line specific annual division sales plan Meet and/or exceed gift goals (gift with purchase, gift with visit), if applicable Meet and/or exceed National Makeup Artistry events Monitor market share and established sales goals, by store, on a monthly basis. Adjust sales activities to increase sales efforts when sales goals are missed Ensure shrinkage is minimized and does not exceed plan (inclusive of damages, RTVs, etc.) Monitor and partner in the review of Associate Sales per Hour goals, Units per Transaction goals and Credit Application goals Achieve brand minimums; create action plans to address minimum shortfalls Associate Development Assist in Sales Associate recruiting activities with store management (HR, STM, ASM, and Store Manager) Ensure the utilization of Customer Contact Book by each Sales Associate Recognize top performers and coach Sales Associates who are performing below expectations Evaluate, recommend and deliver Sales Associate training, as necessary Communications Visit stores regularly (minimum of five days per week) Interact with Sales Associates, ASMs, STMs and Store Manager during store visits Maintain consistent verbal and written communication with Regional Managers, line specific Account Executives, appropriate store, regional and division office staff By middle of each month, submit next month's itinerary to Regional Manager and Account Executive Be available to attend internal and vendor specific business meetings, as required Merchandise Presentation & Promotions Follow established visual merchandising concepts as published by Division Visual Director Ensure timely floor setup for promotional events and seasonal business activities Coordinate execution of approved in-store promotional events and contests Inspect counter standards to include cleanliness, counter set up compared to current vendor schematics and stockrooms (damages, RTVs, organization and cleanliness) Education / Experience Requirements: Position Contribution Level : Intermediate Level Minimum Education & Experience: Four-year degree or equivalent experience in retail environment Expertise in a business/functional area 1 - 3 years supervisory experience Preferred Education & Experience: Knowledge / Skills Requirements: Physical Requirements: Travel to stores, seminars, and off-site facilities Proficient in use of standard office equipment (computer, printer, copy machine, telephone, etc.) Make presentations to all levels of management. Work additional hours, beyond a standard 40 hour work week, as business needs dictate.
