Leads a large project or multiple projects that are significant in scope and impact. Works independently, with limited direction, and is evaluated through end results. May provide technical leadership. Interacts extensively with internal or external contacts to identify, research, analyze and resolve complex problems. Has extensive functional or professional knowledge. Key Responsibilities: Develops financial modeling tools for derivative products, applying the theory and mathematics behind various models. Builds out analytical and technical tools for validations of new models/methodology. Provides in-depth impact analysis or scenario analysis of quantitative measurements. Develops reporting of various risk metrics complied with business and regulatory requirements. Understands financial products across all asset classes and has extensive knowledge of technical implementations. Posses advanced degree in physic, applied mathematics, statistics/probability or another heavy quantitative discipline.

Role:

The Quantitative Services Professional is a member of the team responsible for providing both quantitative and automation solutions to business partners in order to reduce operation risk and increase controls for their daily processes. The candidate will be responsible for various deliverables which must be executed in a timely yet accurate fashion.

Role Overview:

  • Works as part of a broader team on delivery of projects spanning multiple quantitative domains
  • Leads a large project or multiple projects that are significant in scope and impact
  • Works independently, with limited direction, and is evaluated through end results
  • Interacts extensively with internal or external contacts to identify, research, analyze and resolve complex problems
  • Will leverage strong quantitative and programming skills to build deep knowledge of the banks pricing & risk libraries and infrastructure. Use this knowledge to serve as a trusted partners to clients
  • Required Skills:

  • University degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Financial Engineering, Economics or related quantitative field
  • 2+ years of experience working in a quantitative risk, middle office, or front office role
  • Develops analytical and technical tools and delivers quantitative solutions for process enhancement and risk management
  • Understands financial products across all asset classes in capital markets and has extensive knowledge of technical implementations
  • Knowledge of operational processes
  • Knowledge of Python and associated analytical libraries
  • Business knowledge of products in Capital Markets
  • Excellent communication & analytical skills
  • Desired Skills:

  • Experience with machine learning and data mining
  • CFA and/or FRM is a plus
  • Knowledge of the current banking regulatory environment
