You re a great contributor to a high performing team that accomplishes great feats for our clients.What You Will Do:Lead out Project Management organization to align with our project processes, utilizing proven PM methodologies, Use and continually develop leadership skills.Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects.Planning, Organizing, Leading and controlling, Take projects from original ideas, concepts and directives through final implementation.Interface with all areas affected by the project including end users, computer services, and client services. Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.Define project scope and objectives. Including requirements, testing, activities and tasks. Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibilityDevelop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.Conduct project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.Ensure adherence to quality standards and review project deliverables.Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals. Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis.Manage the integration of vendor tasks and track and review vendor deliverables.Provide technical and analytical guidance to project team, as well and build and sustain a world class Project Management Organization poised for to enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.Recommend and take action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems. Work closely with clients, building client relationships and providing excellent project results;What You Will Need: Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree, a current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is desirable, or at least a CAPM Certified Associate in Project Management or CSM: Certified Scrum Master, CPMP: Certified Project Manager Practitioner, PPM: Professional in Project Management.At least 5 years demonstrated high level complex project management experience is required, including Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience; experience prioritizing, scheduling and managing work across multiple parallel tasks, estimating time and labor requirements per task, monitoring and revising time and labor projections, and allocating and sharing staff across multiple tasks, in order to meet delivery schedules and contain cost. Usage of project management methodologies, and project management tools.Desired Skills:Leadership skills; is both a research area and a practical skill encompassing the ability of an individual or organization to "lead" or guide other individuals, teams, or entire organizations. A process of social influence in which a person can enlist the aid and support of others in the accomplishment of a common task.Excellent communications sills across a broad spectrum of people across the enterprise. In order to lead a project, you must be able to clearly communicate your vision, goals, guidelines, and expectations to others. The ability to see the bigger picture behind a project and effectively convey that vision to others is an incredibly valuable and important quality in a Project Manager. Successfully articulating the vision of a project ensures the team can experience it in their mind and helps to get them on board without delay. Instead they will remain calm, assess the problem, and find the best way to resolve it, in order to put the project back on the right track.Problem Solver: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. critical thinking and problem-solving skills.To perform this job successfully, an individual should have working knowledge with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, An industry standard Project Management Tool such as Jira, Trello, Microsoft Project, Capterra etc. Work closely with company management to set project strategy and goals and to assist with pursuing new project opportunities. Experience with FISMA Compliance, ServiceNow ITSM, Dashboards, Tableau for dashboards and executive summaries are desirable.Experienced successfully leading development projects using the SCRUM methodology, lead efforts to reduce backlog and manage sprints, drive improvement and Agile adoption within.Coaching, Supervision, Staffing, People Management and Teamwork.Must be a self-starter and have the customer friendly interpersonal skills to work with both government employees and other contractors.Comes from an analytical background based on a technical degree like math or engineering or has equivalent experience; Understand both development and production operations in a complex data processing environment. Ability to successfully lead and contribute in meetings involving stakeholders at a detailed level; and superior presentation skills. Experience managing multiple projects in a matrix organization. Influencing and leading, negotiation skills, conflict management.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Ability to work in a small group and interface directly with client/project counterparts to ensure high quality project delivery on schedule with minimal oversight.
