Position Overview:

Ashfield Healthcare has partnered with a top pharmaceutical company to build a team of Clinical Specialists to achieve set activity targets in assigned territory and meet all relevant standards as set by project leadership.

Key Objectives:

• To develop a sound understanding of the relevant product and disease area to facilitate detailed discussions with targeted physicians.
• To establish, maintain, and develop strong relationships with targeted physicians, staff; and collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders.
• To maximize efficiency through pre- and post-call planning.
• To effectively prioritize time, activities, and resources to optimize targeted account potential.
• To execute current strategies and initiatives utilizing all relevant promotional literature as provided by the client and/or Ashfield without changing or copying the material.
• To organize and carry out sales presentations at the frequency based on the territory strategy.
• To update CRM with accurate and timely data.
• To attend local and national meetings and/or conferences, as required, to keep abreast of plans, activities and developments and to exchange knowledge and experience within the team.
• To ensure all company expenditure on territory is accurately monitored and accounted for within budget and expense submissions are completed, approved and submitted within the agreed deadlines, where applicable.
• To interact with customers and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner.
• To maintain company equipment and materials in accordance with company instructions.
• To understand and remain updated on the US Healthcare Environment both at a National and Local level.
• To adhere to all PDMA regulations, advaMed and PhRMAcode of conduct.
• To comply with all Ashfield Policies and Procedures, along with all Client Policies and Procedures as required.

Job Holder Requirements:

• Minimum of five (5) or more years of Strong Hunter like field based sales experience. Medical Device sales a plus.
• Experience in the (Rare Disease) environment with successful sales production.
• Demonstrated hands-on, results-oriented approach to sales and leadership with a strong emphasis on team work, collaboration and results.
• Strong aptitude at "Getting Past the Gatekeeper".
• Experienced communicator/presenter of technical information with a quality focus.
• Bachelor's Degree required
• Clinical Licensure helpful but not required, RN, RT, etc.
• Strong Sales/ Hunter Skills with Strong Clinical Aptitude.


• Meet and exceed sales quota set by the management team. Candidate will be responsible for prospecting target accounts on an ongoing basis.
• Candidate will be in the field making sales calls and managing relationships with medical offices.
• Effective at executing field based strategies to generate business.
• Timely Recording of all calls in sales reporting tool (i.e., Sales Force reporting system).
• Understand and present highly complex product clinical information to clients
