Position Summary:* Identifies, develops and cultivates new prospects for Gallagher Benefit Services and positions Gallagher to win opportunities.* Produces revenue through sales to new and existing clients.* Provides leadership to organize internal practice resources to develop Gallagher's value proposition and strategic plan for delivering value-based solutions to the client.* Participates in team sales situations with other producers and support personnel.* Together with other Gallagher subject matter experts, conducts client discovery sessions to identify prospect needs, primary goals and corporate and departmental objectives.* Works on complex issues where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current trends, policy and compliance matters.* Serves as a senior member of the production team and may serve as a mentor or strategic advisor to other less seasoned producers.* Often leads cooperative effort among members of a project team to deliver results.* Able to influence outcomes beyond the scope of their individual function.* Delegates responsibility and provides guidance to team members.* Must possess extensive knowledge and experience and in-depth knowledge of the employee benefits, health and wellness industries.* Develops and maintains interdivision/intercompany relationships consistent with our corporate culture.* Identifies cross-solving opportunities across the breadth of the Gallagher Benefits Services and Gallagher Global Brokerage.Additional Duties:* Assists, educates and develops other staff members in new client sales situations and existing client service requirements.* Prepares and implements an individual business plan and production budget.* Develops and maintains interdivision/intercompany relationships consistent with our corporate culture.* May manage new business goals, sales situations, and account service to comply with procedure manuals and to prevent error and omission incidents.Work Traits:* Demonstrated capability to adhere to and champion the sales process* Act independently with minimal direction.
