This position provides technical support for a variety of New and Current Product Fabrication processes, including Draw Dies, Laser Trim and Weld, Robotic and Manual GMAW/GTAW and Robotic Polish equipment.
Major responsibilities include enhancing fabrication processes by assuring that parts are processed to meet optimum quality, quantity, and cost requirements.
Interface will occur with Work Group Advisers, Work Groups, Quality and Product Engineering, and Manufacturing Support Services. Other responsibilities include continuous improvement activities to improve safety, quality cost and delivery.
Typical work hours are 6:00 am to 3:30 pm (On occasion, night shift will be required with notice). Work location is at York Plant. They will support New Product Project by working on floor as a Tactical Engineer assisting production during start-up of equipment- this will be project based work- job duties will vary based on need.
