• Develop and implement information assurance standards and procedures. • Coordinate, develop and evaluate security programs for an organization. • Recommend security solutions to support the information assurance guidelines and the customer requirements. • Perform vulnerability/risk analyses of computer systems and applications during all phases of the system development life cycle.
• Analyze information assurance-related technical problems and provides advanced engineering and technical support in solving these problems.
• Perform analysis, design, and development of security features for system architectures.
• Design, develop, engineer, and implement solutions that meet security requirements.
• Provide integration and implementation of the computer system security solution.
• Ensure that all information systems are functional and secure.
• Identify, report, and resolve security violations.
• Establish and satisfy information assurance and security requirements based upon the analysis of user, policy, regulatory, and resource demands. Team Support
• Coordinate and lead others in analyzing collected requirements to ensure plans and identified solutions meet customer needs and expectations. • Build, confirm, and prioritize project plans and deliverables with clients and vendors. • Work independently in a collaborative team environment, often with other clients and vendors. • Monitor projects and ensures client requirements are met. • Demonstrate analytical and problem solving skills and strong leadership and project management skills.
• Serve as team leader and mentor to work with clients and vendors. • Assist management with recruiting and training of staff. • Support the preparation of proposals, business plans, standard process documentation and other documents related to the government contract.
• Attend required training. Team Leadership (for managers/supervisors only)
• Ensure alignment of team mission and organizational goals. • Collaborate with peers and employees in other departments to improve operations. • Direct the planning, development, implementation, budgeting, maintenance and support of all department or unit functions. • Administer and manage policies, standards, practices, and security measures for all department or unit functions to assure effective and consistent department operations.
• Recruit, hire, train, supervise, mentor, evaluate and develop assigned employees according to Agency’s policies and procedures, ensuring the overall smooth functioning of the department, and consulting the manager or HR Department as indicated. • Provide guidance and direction for development of all assigned employees to improve the overall professionalism of the department and the support provided • Mentor junior level team members, assist them with developing project plans and goals for the year. • Plan and direct the continual upgrading of equipment and procedures to maintain pace with technological progress, economic change, and business needs.
• Perform standard supervisory administrative duties including: weekly scheduling, time sheets, expense reports, etc. Physical Requirements
This job operates in a professional office environment. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Flexibility related to work hours as project demands arise.
• Occasionally required to move 5 – 40 pounds.
• Must be able to remain in a stationary computer position for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to use hands and fingers to type.
• Must be able to reach with hands and arms for using a computer.

• Degree Requirement: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field. May substitute equivalent combination of education and experience. • Fifteen (15) or more years of experience in the field or in a related area. • Experience with DoD’s RMF, DIACAP, NIST Certification & Accreditation. • Must possess Security + or CISSP certification. • Advanced understanding of software installation and configuration.
• Working knowledge of networks and network devices (switches, routers, firewalls, etc.). • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills. • Must meet eligibility requirements for work assignment on specified contract.
