Amazon is seeking a Product Manager to define and build internal facing products for an emerging business in transportation. We are an entrepreneurial team looking for a data-driven Product Manager that enjoys working with both software engineers and research scientists and doesn't shy away from ambiguity.In this role you will build critical business tools that require abilities to write and review business cases, develop the product roadmap, document business requirements, and own the product from design to release. You will own an early stage product and work closely with customers, research, engineering, and business teams to continuously deliver value for our customers. Your responsibilities will grow with your performance within a science-oriented product team.You will be responsible for: Partnering with key stakeholders to define product strategy and influence development of new products and services Managing prioritization and trade-offs for speed to market, performance, and features Developing user experience goals, stories, and requirements that can be used to develop new products and services Gaining support for your strategy and roadmap from stakeholders by writing narratives and influencing peers and senior leadership Developing, articulating, and promoting data-driven decisions to solve complex business problems Addressing barriers through problem solving and coordination with stakeholdersBasic qualifications Bachelor s Degree in Science, Business, Technology, Engineering or related fields 5+ years work experience managing multiple competing priorities and engaging technical & non-technical stakeholders Experience building roadmaps, managing product backlogs, and working closely with software development teams to build new products in a startup environment Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results Excellent business judgement Ability to work with teams at all levels of the organization Excellent verbal and written communications skills Experience using data to drive decisions and illustrate business conclusions Opportunity for domestic and international travel, though not requiredPreferred qualification MBA or Master s degree in Engineering, Management, or Technology preferred Knowledge of Supply Chain/Logistics/Operations Has an entrepreneurial spiritIf you are currently enrolled in or have graduated from a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D program in the past 6 months, your background aligns more closely with our Student Programs openings.
