Alban CAT, the Caterpillar dealer for the mid-Atlantic Region is accepting applications for Preventive Maintenance Supervisor - Power for our Elkridge branch.
The Preventive Maintenance Supervisor-Power is responsible for managing all aspects of the Preventive Maintenance operations, including monitoring new and in-progress PM work and scheduling of the PM team to ensure quick response to customer requests. Tracks bids and proposals associated with preventive maintenance and provides reports to appropriate parties. Coordinates Total Maintenance and Repair contracts to ensure requirements of contracts are met and documented, including tracking maintenance schedules, required meeting schedules, and contract profitability. Reviews work orders for accuracy and completeness, and the appropriateness of parts and labor, and oversees work order closing process. Reviews monthly financial reports for PM group and adjusts appropriately. Makes recommendations for annual budget to supervisor. Orders parts as needed for jobs. Develops quality control procedures and repair processes to ensure the highest quality of customer service is provided. Coordinates customer Purchase Orders and codes invoices for payment. Confers with customers and representatives of associated industries to evaluate and promote services in the area. Issues and tracks credit paperwork from customers. Creates periodic commodity sales and profitability reports and forwards to appropriate departments/persons for analysis. Establishes culture of professionalism, interactive team communication, and high sense of urgency. Maintains good customer relations, and addresses customer concerns in timely manner. Ensures all technicians follow safe work practices without exception.
A minimum of three years of experience in the service operations or related field. Minimum two years of Supervisory experience. Must have excellent customer relations, written and verbal communication skills. Must have the ability to manage and delegate work. Must be proficient with MS Office. Must have a valid driver’s license , good driving record and be able to travel.
