AgReserves is seeking an analytical and collaborative Business Intelligence (BI) Manager who will support coordinating and leading company business intelligence and reporting initiatives that are designed to meet operational and financial reporting needs. The BI Manager works closely with operations, finance, and support teams addressing business intelligence needs. The ideal candidate is a quick learner, able to adapt to change, and takes initiative. This position is based at the AgReserves Corporate headquarters in Salt Lake City, UT.
Responsibilities: Lead the strategic design and maintenance of business intelligence applications. Identify, research, and resolve complex technical problems. Ensure that the use of business intelligence applications enhance business decision making capabilities. Work collaboratively to identify needs and requirements for improved business intelligence and reporting. Explore, evaluate, and recommend further business intelligence initiatives. Develop, maintain, and support official company reports and associated views, tables, scorecards, OLAP cubes, and dashboards, data mining, and predictive analytics. Understand how company and division metrics align with overall business strategies, goals, and objectives. Align business intelligence strategy, goals, and roadmaps with company strategies. Define and implement procedures and best practices for utilizing business intelligence and reporting tools. Provide information via ad hoc SQL queries or reports. Fulfill customer requests with creativity and high integrity per company standards. Accomplish deliverables on time according to schedules and milestones. Train and support users on business intelligence tools. Acts as effective liaison between information users and IS/BI teams. Supervise, train, mentor, and prioritize work for BI Analysts
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in information systems, finance, or equivalent. Master’s degree preferred. 10+ years technical experience in business intelligence applications and leading teams. Experience with major reporting tools such as MicroStrategy, Power BI, SSRS, Tableau, Birst. Experience with SQL queries and SQL tools to extract data. Knowledge of systems, databases, business processes, and process improvement. Advanced abilities in multi-tasking, problem solving, data analysis, visualization, and modeling. Experience using an ERP system such as Lawson Infor, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, or Oracle. Advanced computer skills including working with Microsoft Office (Visio, Excel, Word, etc.). Strong leadership, multitasking, interpersonal, and communication skills. Bilingual Spanish or Portuguese helpful but not required Experience in farming and/or food processing a plus. Ability to travel, domestic and international – up to 25%. Some after-hours and over-time work on critical business systems
