BoomTown is searching for a growth hacker, inbound marketer and all-around digital guru! You'll get to build a team that embodies our core values like \"Create Amazing Experiences\", \"Go For It\", \"Do More With Less\", \"Seek and Share Knowledge\". You'll launch new marketing channels and make a direct impact to our financial performance every day you come to the office.
Position Summary:
BoomTown is an industry-leading SaaS company serving over 40,000 real estate agents, teams and brokers nationwide. The Director of Digital Marketing will be responsible for building out new consumer-facing web experiences and advertising programs to connect high-intent home buyers and sellers with the industry's top real estate professionals. You'll have the unique opportunity to build a team from the ground up while collaborating and sharing knowledge with our Charleston-based team of digital marketing experts and engineers.
Job Responsibilities Include:
* Digital audience creation - Leverage first- and third-party data to create unique segments for ad targeting, and onboard new audiences for media buying.
* Paid social media - Leverage Facebook, Instagram and Nextdoor to target ads to home sellers and home buyers.
* Programmatic, display and native advertising - Deploy campaigns that drive new customer acquisition with a strong understanding of attribution and incrementality.
* Content strategy - Leverage unique data sets, Social media, earned media, useful resources that drive conversions, lead engagement
* Search engine optimization (SEO) - Identify and prioritize keywords for content development, technical SEO knowledge, optimizing for zero-click searches
* Conversion rate optimization (CRO) - A/B test landing pages, modify and test lead flow steps to improve completion rates
* Marketing analytics - Leverage tools including Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Salesforce and Tableau to understand the impact of website changes.
* Email and Marketing automation - Leverage Salesforce CRM data to engage registered users, drive return site traffic and move leads closer to purchase
* UI / UX - Help design digital experiences and research tools that drive user engagement and collaborate with operations teams to carry that experience through on-phone and in-person interactions.
* Technical product management - Identify software tools to aid the team's success, scope internal build needs, and write user stories for engineering and project management teams to get new digital marketing projects completed correctly the first time.
Experience Required:
* 7+ years of experience in digital marketing with a focus on performance-based campaigns
* 5+ years in direct and indirect leadership roles
* Bachelor's degree or higher in business, mathematics, economics, marketing or related field
* Direct experience with Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Bing Search and Facebook Ad campaigns are a must
* Has worked hand-in-hand with engineers to produce websites and implement digital marketing technology - including writing user stories, gathering inputs and prioritizing projects
* Knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud and Pardot are a plus
* Proven track record of creating high-performing ad campaigns and growing new customer sales
